Committee

The Press Gallery committee is made up of eight people. The current executive is:

President – Andrew Meares (Fairfax)

Vice President – Fleur Anderson (Fairfax)

Secretary – vacant

Treasurer – Nick Haggarty (ABC)

 

As a photographer, Andrew Meares is the first non-reporter to hold the position of President.

 

There are four general positions, currently held by:

Rosie Lewis (News Ltd), Gary Ramage (News Ltd), Andrew Tillett (West Australian) and Alice Workman (Buzzfeed).

 

Gallery elections are held annually, with any holder of a Press Gallery pass able to put their name forward for a position.
