Media Rules

The directives contained in the Rules For Media Related Activity In Parliament House And Its Precincts (PDF at bottom right) are to be observed by all media working at Parliament House. This includes full time Press Gallery members, other Australian media visiting Parliament House who have been signed in by a Press Gallery member and international media traveling with overseas dignitaries.

The rules relating to photography and video in the private areas of Parliament House are also applicable to all politicians, Parliament House pass holders and any visitors they have signed into the building.
